Endure ("the app", "we", "our") is a running analytics app for iPhone. This policy explains what data the app accesses, how it is used, and how it is stored.

Data We Access

Endure requests read access to the following Apple HealthKit data types on your device:

  • Running workouts
  • Heart rate
  • Heart rate variability (HRV/SDNN)
  • Resting heart rate
  • VO2 Max
  • Sleep analysis
  • Workout route data
  • Date of birth
  • Biological sex

This data is used solely to calculate and display your running metrics, training load, pace zones, and personal records within the app.

How Your Data Is Stored

All data accessed by Endure is stored locally on your device only using Apple's SwiftData framework and shared app group containers (for widgets). Your health data is never transmitted to any external server, database, or third party.

Data We Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect personal information such as your name, email, or location.
  • We do not create or require user accounts.
  • We do not use analytics SDKs or advertising frameworks.
  • We do not sync your data to any cloud service.
  • We do not sell or share your data with any third party.

HealthKit Data

Endure's use of HealthKit data complies with Apple's HealthKit guidelines. HealthKit data will not be used for advertising, data mining, or any purpose other than providing features directly within the app. HealthKit data will not be shared with third parties without explicit user consent.

Widgets

Home screen widgets display a subset of your running data (weekly mileage and streak count). This data is shared from the main app to the widget extension via an on-device app group — it does not leave your device.

Data Deletion

You can delete all locally stored app data at any time from Settings → Reset All Data within the app. Deleting the app from your device also removes all associated local data. HealthKit data is managed separately in the Apple Health app.

Children's Privacy

Endure is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
